“Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have patched things up after their blowout fight right before Christmas, ringing in the new year together in London,” reports In Touch, doubling down on its previous bogus reporting.

“After he went there without her, she kept calling, begging him to let her come see him,” a so-called “friend” of the couple tells the magazine.

The In Touch source adds, “Finally, he gave in, even though his family doesn’t like her and isn’t thrilled about it.”

But the good times are about to end, alleges the tabloid.

“It’s only a matter of time” before Pattinson “ends things with [Stewart] for good,” the “pal” tells the mag.

Uh-huh.

Here’s what’s actually happening.

In Touch falsely claimed Stewart and Pattinson had a giant blowout fight over Christmas, then had to scramble to cover itself when the couple spent New Year’s together.

So now the magazine is forced to say the duo’s happiness is short-lived, because Pattinsonwill (supposedly) be dumping Stewart any day now.

It bears repeating that In Touch has never had any clue — none whatsoever — about what’s really going on with Stewart and Pattinson.

The tabloid’s track record is a trail of truly gross sensationalism and easily disproven speculation.

It whips up non-stories, hoping to stir controversy.

This latest half-baked excuse for a “breakup” story is just more of the same unsubstantiated nonsense.A source close to Stewart and Pattinson tells Gossip Cop that while “no one can predict the future, good or bad,” In Touch’s previous bad guesses “speak for themselves.”

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart rung in the New Year with a romantic trip to the Isle of Wight according to insiders, which is becoming quite a tradition for the couple who were spotted on New Years Day at the Spyglass Inn where they celebrated the same holiday in 2010 and 2009.

The 'Twilight' couple spent Christmas apart but reunited in time say goodbye to 2012 in the UK. According to Heat magazine the couple enjoyed a low key night and were spotted at the Spyglass Inn on the island the next day after travelling there by ferry with a group of friends.

The Inn is a firm favourite of the couple having spent New Years Eve there in 2010 and 2009 but opting for an LA based party last year.

We think it must have been a relief for the A list pair to wave goodbye to the last 12 months, as we doubt it's going to go down as a good year for them, following the brunette's affair with married director Rupert Sanders.

The news comes as the couple are reported to be house hunting in London, Rob's home town.

“Ever since Kristen’s ­affair last year, Rob has ­realised just how much his friends and family in the UK mean to him,'' a source told The Mirror.

“After spending more time here in recent months, Rob’s decided he wants to split his time more between London and Los Angeles,'' they added.

“He wants to put down roots in London and he’s doing it with ­Kristen.''

“He’s told her that if she wants to make things work, she’s going to have to ­accept that he wants to spend much more time in London,'' the source continued.

The source said: “They decided to base themselves in Richmond, South-West London, so Rob can be close to his parents’ home in Barnes.''

''Rob knows the area as he attended Tower House, a prep school near Richmond Park. So his dad Richard put him in touch with an estate agent who lined up appointments.”
